The Subjects

Covering what’s needed to begin the IB Diploma Programme

With a maximum of 6 students in each class, our online Pre-IB courses deliver 12.5 hours per subject over 5 days, in the morning or afternoon (BST, UK timezone) sessions. You are able to complete two subjects in one week.

Taught by leading IB teachers, you will develop confidence in your mathematical understanding and skills prior to beginning either Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches (A&A) or Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (A&I). For our English course, you will develop confidence in producing the level of written work expected in IB Diploma subjects, Theory of Knowledge (ToK), CAS and the Extended Essay, plus effective note-taking and daily revision strategies to cope with the challenging Diploma Programme.

Our introductory subject courses are for students who want a head start on their IBDP subjects. Taught by expert IB teachers, the course components include practice with the methodology and terminology of the subject at DP level, along with the areas of study in the course, plus Internal Assessment and examination requirements.
