Have you ever thought of making more of YouTube when reviewing / learning of a new topic?

I have found myself more and more going online and posting videos for my classes to watch prior to a lesson as a way to move beyond the basics and extend the knowledge base with activities and problems.

The most recent, to explain / introduce / review mitosis.

I have also found that if I type in the syllabus point such as “2.3.4 compare prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells” I get…

In addition, save them to “favourites” under each topic section and by the end of the year you will have collated a series of videos on a variety of topics.

Come exam prep time it will add something new to your review process.

I challenge YOU to go RIGHT now and search for a video (Youtube / not YouTube) on a topic with which you have had difficulties and see if you can find something that will help you.
