Hi all,
Just a quick post to say I have posted on the DT student blog – links to Yanko Designs’ series of interviews with famous designers that give advice about innovation and design in the real world. What is great about these designers are they are famous in the design world but less so outside of this so some of your students may not have heard of them. But when they read about them and what they have designed and their advice it should be an excellent resource for them to take on board.
Designers featured in the post include :-
- Hideshi Hamaguchi – he is the inventor of the USB stick.
- Robert Brunner – ex Design Director at Apple.
- Karim Rashi – Designer of over 3000 products.
So worth checking out the post and the interviews and maybe using these with your students during their DT course next academic year.
