The International Year of Chemistry

Did you know that 2011 was the ‘International Year of Chemistry?’ (IYC) – I certainly didn’t until I read a supplement¹ in the UK daily newspaper the Independent (so thank you for that Independent!)

I therefore thought that at the very least I would dedicate a few posts this week to the IYC.

To start with, as you would expect, there is a website (www.chemistry2011.org)
