NOTT-202. This substance is an interlocking metal organic framework that will absorb gases and if you haven’t heard of it yet, you may find it becomes very common place in the future.
The substance absorbs gases at high presures. When the presuure is released, so are the gases – except the carbon dioxide which the structure holds onto. It could (possibly) be used in cars and factories.
What I wonder about though is where will this locked up CO2 be stored?
