Well the summer is almost fully upon us – and thoughts maybe turning to Internal Assessments and projects that we can change or run through next year. One excellent IA which can bring in a number of unit areas including :-
1) Design Process – with such areas as incremental, divergent, convergent thinking etc…
2) Product Innovation – looking at innovation and how mobile phones are placed into markets…
6) Product Design – ergonomics and anthropometrics a great area to base an IA involving testing and measuring of existing phones…
Two get the ball rolling on such an Internal Assessment – and get students interested in the area Google Nexus – have produced a set of videos showing from – Concept and Design, Testing (this video is great and could be one way to set the IA off) through to Manufacturing – see the videos below:-
