Nelly Furtado – All Good Things (Come To An End) (US Version)

Dear old OCC,

Farewell.

You have been such familiar habit I may find it hard to simply forget you because “My IB” is the new kid on the block

Yes, I know you had your foibles and of course over time I expect I’ll forget you and your funny quirks, the weird navigation etc.

But dammit you were always there for me when I needed to vent or to find an answer, (even if I often had to struggle to find that answer.)

Let’s face it, you were sometimes a little…strange.

But it was good while it lasted.

 Farewell…

As you may – or may not – know, the OCC is being phased out…

The IB says that the OCC will be decommissioned “when its main functions have been fully developed and made available to schools”.

“My IB is the International Baccalaureate’s new central location for IB resources and applications.

Teachers will continue using the OCC in parallel with the programme resource centre beta site through 2017.

This includes the launch of the programme resource centre, as well as the successors for the community forums and teacher resource exchange.”

FORUMS

Programme Communities will replace the forums on the OCC (where you can “join the discussions, network, and share your expertise and tips!”).

RESOURCES & THE PROGRAMME RESOURCE CENTRE

All the teacher support materials and resources will be found at the Programme Resource Centre

The programme resource centre replaces the online curriculum centre (OCC) as the place to go for essential IB curriculum resources. To access the programme resource centre, log in through My IB with your usual credentials and you will find a new section for the programme resource centre.
