OSC is proud to support both IBSCA and Triple A Learning in the running of residential and online IB teacher workshops. In 2014/15, we are thrilled to be continuing to work in partnership with IBSCA and TAL; providing IB educators around the world with access to high-quality professional development.

IBSCA Professional Development Workshops

IBSCA provides invaluable support and development opportunities to new and experienced IB World Schools across the PYP, MYP and DP Programmes.

Throughout 2014/15, IBSCA will run 71 IB Teacher Workshops across a wide range of PYP, MYP and DP subjects in all three categories. OSC is proud to support IBSCA in the running of these workshops on a non-profit basis.

  • IB authorised and approved
  • Competitively priced – plus a large discount for IBSCA members
  • Held over weekends and holidays – minimising the need to cover absent teachers
  • Led by approved and trained IB Workshop Leaders, carefully selected by IBSCA
  • Held at prestigious university venues at Warwick and Oxford

The venue is a reputable historic place, an inspiring learning environment, and easy to get to. As a consequence of the lower price, my school decided to send two delegates instead of one.” – IBSCA Delegate, 2013

The online workshops take place over the internet using a Virtual Learning Environment and are asynchronous; allowing participants to log in whenever it suits them and work around their own schedule. All workshops have an online mentor – an expert on the particular topic. The mentor will guide discussions, answer questions and queries, provide relevant resources and materials and help participants get the most from the workshop.

With prices starting from £200, the ability for participants to schedule their own learning, and the nature of the workshops, they provide an invaluable source of professional development.

Registration will open soon

The next set of Online Workshops will take place in October 2014. Registration for the workshops will open soon. To register your interest, please email us at [email protected] or call us on +44 (0) 1865 512 802.
