Fetal Pig

My students; as do many in Ontario,  dissect the fetal pig in order to fully appreciate the intricacies of the internal physiology that is studied in class.

Dissections can be invaluable in providing that added dimension to your comprehension of how the organs intertwine to form functioning systems.

If you have already carried out the lab they will provide good review, if you are about to; they will provide excellent preparation. And if dissecting the pig (or other animal) is too much for you,  then show your teacher the YouTube link, and explain you will be watching online instead.

Regardless of where you are coming from, the videos are informative on the systematic process that should be addressed in carrying out a dissection and the physiology content you are learning.
