University Advice for IB Students from the University of Surrey

The University of Surrey is a regular attendee of OSC’s IB University Fairs and we are delighted to have them provide us with their insight into the application process.

The University of Surrey, ranked 4^th in the Guardian University Guide 2016, welcomes international students from around the world each year to commence their studies with us.  Set amongst pretty countryside but just 35 minutes to Central London, the University of Surrey offers the benefits of a relaxed campus university with the amenities of a lively town on the doorstep.  As a Surrey student you will be taught by leading academics from around the world, on a beautiful campus that has seen major investment in facilities over the last few years.

The University of Surrey recognises the high academic calibre that the IB students bring, and lists the International Baccalaureate alongside our A Level requirements both online and in our printed prospectus.  Each year we welcome approximately 4-5% of our intake from the IB route and our requirements currently sit at between 34-38 points depending on the chosen programme of study.   For further information about Surrey, log on to www.surrey.ac.uk
